The Boca Raton Museum of Art, is the anchor of art and culture in South Palm Beach County. Gumbo Limbo Nature Center

Gumbo Limbo Nature Center is an environment-learning center with an elevated boardwalk through a coastal hammock, a 40ft. observation tower, outdoor saltwater tanks with sea turtles, a variety of fishes and other marine life. Indoor exhibits include reptiles, aquariums, and a variety of displays that represent the local surroundings.

Spanish River Park

The Spanish River Park takes its name from the shallow fresh water stream, which once flowed along what is now the western edge of the park. The picnic area of the park is equipped with grills, tables and restrooms. Facilities are available on a first come, first served basis. Picnicking by groups is restricted to the group picnic areas. Overnight camping by organized youth groups at a pre-selected site in the park is allowed under
rules set forth by the city of Boraton.

International Museum of Cartoon Art

The International Museum of Cartoon Art is the only museum of its kind with cartoonists represented from over 50 countries. Started in Greenwich, CT, it moved to Rye Brook, NY and then to Boca Raton, FL. The museum’s collections of 160,000 original drawings include every genre of the art: animation, comic books, comic strips, gag cartoons, illustration, editorial cartoons, greeting cards, caricature, graphic novels, sports cartoons and computer generated art. The museum’s collection also includes over 10,000 books on cartoons and a thousand hours of film and video of animated cartons, interviews and cartoon documentaries.

Red Reef Park

The "reefs" here are just 10 feet from the shore line, allowing encounters with puffer fish, sea robins, trigger fish and a wide variety of sea snails.
Red Reef Park has almost everything u need for a day out : picnic tables, pavilions grills and a playground. A lifeguard is on duty from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and there are two changing facilities/restrooms. It is also adjacent to a golf course. Admission is $8 on the weekdays and $10 on the weekends.
Hours: Sunrise to sunset.
Special Tip : Just bring your mask and snorkel.

South Beach Park

South Beach Park is Boca's southern-most beach and probably its quietest. The beach is 1/2 a mile long and about 30 yards wide. The park is directly behind the beach with sidewalks throughout the park leading to the beach. The beach itself is very pretty with scenic views and clean, fine sand. For the ultimate shopping experience, Boca Raton has everything you need ...and more, no matter what you are looking for, you can easily find it at any of Boca's premier shopping locations.

Spanish River Park

Spanish River Park is Boca's largest beach area and the northern-most beach. This popular, but not overly crowded beach is large and sandy, about 3/4 of a mile long and 60 to 80 yards wide. The beach has good facilities: 10 restrooms, picnic tables, barbecues, a concession stand and two areas designated for dogs.

South Inlet Park Beach

South Inlet Park is known for its beautiful vistas and many couples find its the perfect place to be married. The 1.10 acre park has 850 feet of beach, picnic areas with grills, a volleyball area, covered pavillions and a pier for strolling or fishing. Reservations are required for the covered pavillion and picnic area.
